NEWTON
Newton's First Law of Motion-Application to badminton is simple. The birdie will not move or change direction unless a force is applied to it.
Newton's Third Law of Motion-For every action, there is a reaction. The action is hitting the birdie and reaction is birdie moving in direction with velocity.
Newton's Third Law of Motion-For every action, there is a reaction. The action is hitting the birdie and reaction is birdie moving in direction with velocity.
Momentum
Momentum can be defined as mass in motion. All objects have mass, so if an object is moving, it will have momentum. The amount of momentum an object has is dependent of 2 things, how much of it is there, and how fast most of it is. Momentum=Mass x Velocity
Velocity
Rate of change in distance relative to time and direction. Applies to birdie when hit by racket. Force of swing determines the velocity. The fastest birdie ever hit moved at 332 KM/H.
